What’s In Your Closet, Erika?
My lovely friend, Erika, is a PHD student studying Chinese Anthropology. She has the most amazing stories of her adventures in Beijing, stories that include dumplings and liechi beer! (Oh my!)
A couple months ago Erika moved into a beautiful home in Seattle and let me take a peek into her closet. I couldn’t believe it when I saw all the beautiful vintage pieces and noted so. It turns out that most of the clothing is hand tailored by a wonderful woman in Beijing who is getting her business started in a city bursting with beautiful textiles.
Needless to say, Erika and I just had to get together and shoot a selection of her unique wardrobe with the goal of putting together an album to send to her tailor. Here we go!
