London: photokina Euro Travel Series

London in Black & White (plus one color)

 

In 2010-2011, I was head of social media for the global camera accessory company, BlackRapid.  My favorite part of the job was to go with the company to trade shows around the world because it gave me the opportunity to meet, in person, the people I talked with online on a daily basis.  As we were on a business mission, there wasn’t a whole lot of time for sightseeing, but somehow we always fit in a photo walk for a few hours.

Since the images I took were for posterity, I am just now, four years later, sitting down to process and print for my personal albums at home.  Here are a few of my favorites from my trip to London, England.  I was there for two afternoons in September 2010: on my way to, and on my way back from photokina, the world’s largest imaging fair.

I want to make special note that the entire trip I used the Think Tank Photo StreetWalker® Pro Camera Backpack (Photo Sister BIG LOVE on that camera bag).

Also, I’ve been a user of Totally Rad actions and presets since 2008 (I use their Photoshop Actions in PS, Lightroom Presets in LR, and PicTapGo! for my iPhone processing) but for my photokina Euro Travel Series I am testing out and using only their Replichrome film presets for Lightroom and am totally blown away and HOOKED!!!
