1 Hour and 3 Minutes with John Osebold and Montana von Fliss
Photographing the artists of Jose Bold and Friends “Dream House”
It’s such an honor to have two people such as John Osebold (2011 Genius Award winner) and Montana von Fliss as friends. Not only are they incredibly talented and successful, but their hearts are made of gold sunshine and their happiness and laughter is so contagious that you’re on cloud nine for weeks on end. They are easy like a Sunday morning.
It’s also kind of perfect that John and Montana invited me to their home to photograph them in their pajamas before the opening of John’s new show “dream house“. We sat and talked while sipping tea and eating vanilla wafers. And in the same vein as “dream house“, it was endless entertaining conversation and an experience I will forever cherish.
Go see John Osebold, Montana von Fliss, Jenfifer Zwick, Carl Cutler, Ben Olsen, Kirk Anderson, Corrie Befort, Allysa Thompson and Erika Kuever in “dream house” at a secret location performance in Capitol Hill.

The best ways often come from random pealcs, and often by random acts. I returned home after my father had died to find that someone had planted pansies all around my patio ..and the kindest sympathy note came from the wife of a dear friend-a woman who had never met my father and did not know me very well. Despite that, she dug deeply into her own rememberences of loss and sent such a heartfelt letter. This is a perfect example of Do unto others. If all you can muster is I am sorry for your loss , then you might just think about skipping it. No one is sorrier than the one who has lost. Find something meaningful to say or do, or let them grieve in peace Vijay
