53 Minutes with Kimberley Sustad
I have been wanting to photograph Kimberley Sustad since I saw her absorbing performance in WHITE HOT early 2012.
Now that she is leading in Lewis Black’s “One Slight Hitch” at ACT – A Contemporary Theatre in Seattle, I got a chance to capture her when she posed with the comedian and playwright, and the amusing duo ended up on the cover of the Seattle Times.
A week later Kimberley, who was in Supernatural and Alcatraz earlier this year, was kind enough to sit in front of my camera yet again, but this time for more intimate editorial portrait session in the dressing room and hallways of ACT Theatre.
Kimberley possesses a quiet, classic beauty that quickly takes your breath away, then she takes you off guard with a swift smack of dirty humor. You have to love a woman like that.

Catch “One Slight Hitch” at ACT Theatre in Seattle, June 8th – July 8th, 2012.
Life in suburban Cincinnati circa 1981 is good for Doc and Delia Coleman on the morning they plan to throw their eldest daughter the lavish wedding they never had, until her ex shows up and begins to wreak glorious havoc on all of their plans. A zany, door-slamming farce from seriously funny man Black, One Slight Hitch delivers a riotous and strangely romantic ride through the deconstruction of one family’s equilibrium.
Note: Lewis Black is the playwright. He wrote the funny play. The playwright does not appear in the show.

Kimberly Sustad is an amazingly beautiful woman and the way you shot her makes her even more beautiful. Yet you also make her look like the girl next door. I wish some other photographers and models would understand that true beauty comes from the angles and the subject not from nudity or improper poses. Love these photos….jealous of you.
Kimberly Sustad is a Beautiful Young Lady, but she Doesn’t get her Beauty from Camera and Lighting, Makeup or anything else; Kimberly Sustad has the Beauty that she has because the LORD has Given Kimberly Sustad her Natural Beauty.
I have seen Kimberly Sustad in the Hallmark Movie
” The Nine { 9 } Lives of Christmas, also Starring Brandon Routh and Gregory Harrison, and they ALL did a Fabulous Job. In my own Opinion, I believe that Kimberly Sustad and Brandon Routh played there rolls Superbly.
If it were up to me, I would give Kimberly Sustad and Brandon Routh the Highest Award that there is in the Golden Awards Ceremony, or whatever it’s called, has to Offer Actor’s and Actress’s.
Kimberly Sustad also Photographs Very Well in the Still’s Photography as well. I love those pictures of you Kimberly Sustad, Keep Up the Superior Job, Good Luck to you in the Future Kimberly, and GOD Bless you Now and Always.
Amen Robert agreed, I’ve watched that movie probably ten minutes I also agree with Chuck with other comment you don’t have to show what your body looks like or what it can do with lewd ways .What a beautiful woman in many ways.
I couldn’t agree with you more. The Nine lives was a great movie. I bought it for my computer. She was amazing in it, just beautiful, along with the grate acting. I would love to see more of her on Hallmark. She just played McKenna in all things Valentine but it wasn’t the lead. It just goes to show you you don’t need nudity and foul language to produce a great movie.
I iced both Kimberly Sustad and Brandon Routh. They have captured my heart. Hope I see them together in another Hallmark movie. They truly make wonderful music together.
You are a so beautiful and you have beautiful brown eyes Love all your movies !! Please keep on making more movies
Yes Kimberley and Brandon were both perfect together. My favorite holiday movie on Hallmark. They should get a series.
