Photographing the artists of ACT – A Contemporary Theatre

Here is a fun shoot I captured a couple months ago for ACT’s “A Christmas Carol” summer campaign.

My single subject for this shoot was one of my favorite people  in town, Kurt Beattie, the Artistic Director of ACT. You might remember Kurt from my “Assisted Living” shoot earlier this year which featured Kurt and his long-time friend, and “A Christmas Carol” counterpart, Jeff Steitzer. This play is fun for the whole family and opens right after Thanksgiving, so be sure to get tickets now before your holiday calendar books up! (Details for the play follow the images below.)

As this shoot was part of my “Working Artists of Theatre” personal project, I selected one of these images as a custom 30×45 print and included the piece in my Celebration!” exhibit which ends October 3rd, 2013. Details on the closing night event can be found here: http://laraelobdell.com/exhibit/
