Photographing the artists of Seattle Public Theater: 3 of 6
She is at home sitting in trees full of cherry blossoms. Whimsical and fun, adventurous and beautiful.
Photographing “The Language Archive” director Shana Bestock was so much fun I felt like I was back in time with my favorite childhood friend, climbing trees and planning out the dream tree fort. The moments in life we treasure and never lose.
Once back on solid ground, we ran into Seattle Public Theater where her stage was in full rehearsal with enthusiastic teens working on their own summer production. She laughs, smiles and takes time for every one of them and refers to them as “my kids”. I like that. I like how involved and passionate she is about her community. I like that I had the privilege to photograph her at such a beautiful time in life.
