It is our genuine belief that passionate artists of any nature hold a power that is not to be rivaled- the power of feeling. The power to change the course of someones emotional track with just the energy that exists within you. We see this, and stand back in admiration as Tina Vernon uses this energy and this power for the ultimate greater good. As a successful singer, playwright AND actress- Tina’s passion spans across many genres of art and touches the lives of many. As her bio admits, “Vernon is adept at penning portraits of humankind with piercing emotional accuracy, and delivering them vocally with all the candor of someone who makes no apologies for who she is or what she’s seen.”
Most recently, Vernon’s name is prominent as the premier of her beautiful work “WANTED” is hitting the stages of Seattle’s own Theatre Off Jackson. WANTED is a solo play she’s written “exploring freedom, desire, and the question of identity for young girls and women”. Also, in addition to WANTED she spends time with non-profit organizations to develop workshops that empower women and girls to tell their own stories.
To say the least, Vernon is a creative powerhouse and we simply can’t wait to see what else she has up her sleeve!
