There are many beautiful souls in the city of Seattle, and on this particular day I got to meet Nathan, an exceptionally extraordinary soul.

Get to Know Nathan Sorseth!

PS: When you were young, did you imagine you would be on this particular journey in life? Why or why not?
NS: Not in the slightest. The young me could not possibly have imagined the strangeness of life, nor its richness, nor its wicked sense of humor.

PS: What is the one thing you splurge on for yourself?
NS: Glasses and pens. I have a weak spot for high-end eye-wear and precision writing instruments.

PS: What 3 countries would you like to visit and what would you like to experience while there?
NS: Bhutan: Paro Taktsang; Turkey: the site of Troy; France: the Avignon Festival.

PS: What made you want to do theatre?
NS: I started doing theatre because I needed somewhere to hide from other kids. I kept doing theatre because I wanted more than anything to be a professional working actor. Now I do theatre because it gives me more sense of purpose and belonging than any other activity I’ve ever tried.

PS: The Beatles or Elvis?
NS: Beatles (later)

PS: What do you fear the most?
NS: Death. And all other terrors do their best to mimic it.

PS: What kind of people do you surround yourself with?
NS: Apparently the fearless, talented, and loving type…

PS: What’s next on your horizon?
NS: Finding the end of this horizon and the beginning of the next one.

Go see Nathan as “Julian” in “reWilding”!
