The first person to greet us on our journey to explore and get to know The Satori Group’s new feature, reWilding (and all involved) was Alex Matthews. Armed with a brilliant smile and great attitude, Alex made the time spent with LaRae effortless and thoroughly enjoyable.
Go see Alex as “Eddie” in reWilding and get to know him a little more below!
Get to Know Alex Matthews!
PS: When you were young, did you imagine you would be on this particular journey in life? Why or why not?
AM: Absolutely not! I didn’t have any real exposure to theater until I was a Senior in college, and even then it took me a few years before I could admit that this is what I wanted to do with my life. It’s a little bit like falling in love with a stone-broke bipolar crack addict. But hey, love is love. You don’t really choose it
PS: What is your hidden talent (any party tricks)?
AM: I used to train in martial arts, so sometimes my company members get drunk and ask me to do knife disarming moves or submission holds. Is that a trick? I don’t know. It just sounds weird now that I think about it.
PS: What makes you happy?
AM: The feeling that someone knows every nasty, dirty, shitty thing there is to know about me and still accepts me. Bonus happy points if they also still LIKE me.
PS: What’s next on your horizon?
AM: Oh, man. I try not to think that far ahead.
