Fuchsia FoXX is a Bellydance & Burlesque Entertainer entrancing the audiences of Seattle’s performance scene.

First introduced to Fuchsia almost two years ago over a glass of champagne in a green room, I ended up helping out behind the scenes and delivered her music to the DJ to queue for her set. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing Fuchsia perform a few times since then, and her sets are always brilliantly artistic, tightly choreographed and delivered with heat.

Fast forward to March, 2012 and I selected the neo-burlesque cabaret, “The Beyond Real Human Female!” premiering at The Solo Performance Festival (SPF) to be featured here on PhotoSister.com as part of my continued photography essay of performers 1-on-1 and off-stage.

It was with great pleasure when I found out that Fuchsia FoXX was one of 5 women leading this show, and she allowed me to not only photograph her in her home, but also show me the “deconstruction” of her wig and eyelashes in a taxi on the way home from a late night show. [details to her upcoming shows below]
