Every one of us dreams of one day displaying our talents for people to see; whether that is our close friends and family, our city… or perhaps a panel of established and esteemed judges? Miss Julie Danforth knows this experience first hand as a contestant on the wildly popular fashion reality TV show, “The Look”. The Look “is a locally televised reality show designed to showcase Seattle area designers… The grand prize winner will receive up to $10,000 to use in expanding his or her fashion business, coverage in 425 Magazine, and the opportunity to display the 5 piece winning collection in Neiman Marcus at The Shops at The Bravern.”
To say the least, this is a big deal! But it is nothing for Julie, as her signature style effortlessly exudes from everything she creates. Seattle Magazine states, “To some, wearing a design by Julie Danforth will evoke images of Breakfast at Tiffany’s, or the Camelot era of the White House. To others, her designs represent stylish and refined sensuality. Julie Danforth captures a small window in fashion history in her designs.”
On a beautiful day with rays of sunshine bursting into the studio, LaRae saw this in Julie. But what she also saw was the kindest and most bubbly of souls. She emanates joy and humility and was an honor to spend a Seattle morning with. LaRae wishes her all the luck and ask that you extend your love and support her way- and follow her at www.juliedanforthdesign.com.
