Without a doubt, behind every great production is a team of great musicians. The Satori Group is very lucky to have just that- in the form of three funny and endearing young artists. Keep an eye and an ear out for Keith White, Joshua Koopman and Andrew Van Kempen in Satori’s upcoming feature reWilding, which is about an outsider’s journey into an isolated wooded community “not too far north or too far south of anywhere.”

Get to know these guys even more and check out the dates for reWilding below!

Get to Know Keith, Joshua and Andrew!

PS: Who or what inspires you the most in your personal life?  And in your professional life?
KW: My grandfather is a pretty special human being. Jarrad Powell, a teacher of mine in school, taught me a lot about what being a musician means.

PS: What 3 countries would you like to visit and what would you like to experience while there?
KW: Japan, Ghana, and Mexico. I’d love to see boxing in all three countries, particularly Mexico. The people of all three countries interest me immensely.

PS: What do you fear the most?
KW: Cats kind of make me nervous.

PS:  When you were young, did you imagine you would be on this particular journey in life? Why or why not?
JK: Artist-scientist-athlete. I suppose I am not too far from one of those.

PS: What made you want to do theatre?
JK: I have never done theatre, but I wanted to work on this production because the Satori Group seemes like such a great group to work with.

PS: The Beatles or Elvis?
JK: The Beatles!

PS: What made you want to do music?
AK: I’ve been playing music my entire life, and have loved it since the start. It’s my place to be creative, let loose, and challenge myself. And nothing else really gets my blood going like playing a show…

PS: Who or what inspires you the most in your personal life?  And in your professional life?
AK: My friends and family always have inspired me in my personal and professional life. Who knows what I’d be doing without them. PS: What is your hidden talent (any party tricks)?
AK: You know how some people can open bottles with lighters? I can sometimes do that.
